Its unique design, consisting of two joined wooden frames without glazing beads, makes it the ideal window for those seeking a minimalist, elegant “all-wood” solution that still delivers the performance typically associated with aluminum.
Insulation and
high performance
UNIKA is constructed entirely from laminated wood profiles and consists of an inner door panel and an outer frame that are mechanically assembled, resulting in a door-frame joint reduced to 100 mm. The door profiles, water-based painted using flow coating, are joined using cylindrical wooden dowels; the absence of internal glazing beads, combined with the reduced door-frame joint, enhances the structure’s elegance and lightness.
UNIKA features three interlocking gaskets on the frame for improved sound insulation, and the 13-series die-cast steel hardware includes adjustable hinges and a tilt-and-turn opening mechanism with a micro-ventilation system. Double or triple glazing is available, with the option to incorporate low-emissivity glass, argon gas, and warm-edge spacers to enhance thermal performance according to specific requirements.
